SCULPTURE 

A sculpture reveals the soul of a space, and crafts memorable places. With this requisite in mind, ARTQUBE gathers a large portfolio of metal, stone, resin, fiberglass, wood and mixed-media sculptures, for wall art as well as lobby monumental pieces.

 ARCHEOLOGY OF SENSES  After studying plastic arts in London, it took me 20 years to reconnect with creation. My work is therefore above all the fruit of a latency, a gestation. It is born in silence and responds to these immobile moments that "gather our pieces" forgetting the agreements elaborated by our thought.  When I draw, there is no disagreement, no expectation, no prejudice. Nothing that can oppose. Identity issues are abandoned and the trait carries within it the vital movement that precedes any story. The first aspiration. The initial and singular breathing where everything is welcomed.  It is in consciousness that I continue the experience of the simple and vagabond trait to anchor in me its original vibration, tame its source and give it matter.  I give the time and flexibility necessary for this mutation so that the line becomes a living relief capable of colliding with our time. And the line to change scale, to expand, to be colored, to leap, to blend, to disappear, to better respond to the emotion that gave birth to it as the injunction of the moment.  If the format and the digital cutting are faithful supports to the spirit of the drawing, the chosen material is emissary of the line, spokesperson of its simplicity, its light echo which tells us that everything is for the best.
