YAN PEI-MING

Yan Pei-Ming , the Franco-Chinese painter is best known for his immense, and almost exclusively monochrome, portraits that draw upon Chinese cultural history and Western portraiture tradition. In 2003, he gained international recognition at the Venice Biennale. Six years later, his work was acquisitioned by the L ouvre where he exhibited a collection of portraits that sought to convey his personal perspective on Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.

ZAO WOU-KI

Through both his personal life and art, Zao Wou-Ki embo died the perfect bridge between the East and the West. According to Mr. de Sarthe, “Zao Wou-Ki was the most important Chinese artist to have left before the revolution. The art world lost a giant” (source, New York Times). Today, all major museums and auctions
include his work.

MIQUEL BARCELO

As a world-renowned Spanish artist, Miquel Barcelo’s work is a mix between many artistic
movement from all around the globe. With influences as wide ranging as Velasquez, Tintoretto, Rembrandt and Dubuffet, he was the youngest artist ever to be exhibited at the Louvre and exhibited at the Picasso Museum in Paris. Miquel Barcelo is also the artist behind the decorated ceiling of the United Nations building in Geneva.
